This is a good system, but I have had a hard time finding anything better than intense debate because it has a ton of functionality and i can moderate the whole site via email by sending 1 word answers... if you haven't heard of it check it out!

I'm loving Disqus so far. It's a shame it doesn't convert my smilies into MSN ones like Wordpress automatically does in my blog posts. But I can live with that!

I love Discus! Soooo cool. Thanks for talking me into using it on my blog!

All I can say is "wow"!

As for video comments, you're right: they're not indexable. Huge problem. Another problem is that video comments can be scanned, internalized as quickly as text comments can (at least for me - I'm no speed reader, but I can usually read faster than people speak).

And I loooove that you can edit your comments!
